An Introduction to Calendar for Ministry Leaders

If you're in charge of creating events for your department or ministry, your main goal is to make sure events are ready with their rooms and resources at the requested time. You can do that from Calendar.

Log In to Calendar

The first time you log in to Calendar, you may or may not need to set a password, depending on if you have previously set a password for one of our other products.

On the login page, select the Need a password? link below the email and password fields.

Enter the email address your Administrator used to set up your profile, and a verification code will be sent to that email address. After entering the code, you will be able to create a password and then log in.

Once you are logged in, you will stay logged in until you log out or after 2 weeks of inactivity.

Request Rooms/Resources

After you've created an event, you need to request the rooms and resources the event will need, including any keys a person might need.

Add the Event Schedule

Don't forget your setup times! If a team plans to come before the event, add it to the schedule, so the room is prepared for them to decorate.

Add the Registration Event

If the event is connected to another event, like one in Registrations, you can add that event from the Settings.

Email Notifications

Most of the time, you'll be considered the Event Owner of any event you create. However, if you're setting up the event for someone else who needs to be communicated to, make them the Event Owner.

An Event Owner will receive emails based on the status of the requests.

Get Help & Support

The best way to get help is by clicking the question mark in the upper right when you're logged in.

Click the help button

When you click that, you'll see this helpful dialog box.

Help & Support Box
  1. Suggested articles will give suggestions based on the page you're on when you click the question mark.
  2. Click browse our documentation to be taken directly to our online manual. You'll be able to see all of our help articles and open them from there.
  3. Type in what you're looking for. This will search our online manual and return articles on that topic.
  4. Send an email to our Support Team. For the most efficient support, be sure to include specifics about what you're working with. This might include the event, location, person you're working with, the station name you're checking people in on, or the type of printer you're working with. The more specifics you send our way, the better we can help!
