Improved: Updated Tag Colors

We've updated the color options for tags! If you're been with us for a while, you'll know this isn't the first time we've made changes to our tag colors. Previously, our goal was to implement higher contrast colors to help our product be more accessible to those who are visually impaired, but the general response was that the tag colors were too dark — especially against Calendar's lovely shades of red.

So we went back to the drawing board to find a solution that was more beautiful, bright, and equally accessible. Now, anytime there are words on top of a colored background we'll change the text color accordingly to achieve our accessibility standard goals as well as keeping things bright 😎So so bright!

Updating our tag colors gets us closer to the other spaces across Planning Center where colors are being used in similar ways such as Group Types in Groups and Labels in Giving. We know this may change things up for you in the short-term, but don't expect another update to tag colors in the foreseeable future. Thanks for your feedback, and be on the look out for some very cool things coming to Calendar soon!

❤️ Happy Calendaring,
Kayla, Greg, Taylor, Nick, Jared, Tammy, Beth, Zeek, and Evan
